A surrealist painter who, in the field of his work, does not allow himself to be overcome by modern trends (minimalism, or abstract vision of space). This contributes to his extraordinary uniqueness. He is concerned with the flexibility of the place of events, which transcends the limits of reality. This, as the artist himself says, frees the space which the painter creates. Władysław Adamski introduces his audience into the world of episodes oscillating between the dream and the subconscious, where both people and animals are touched by the breath of metamorphosis. The artist does not stick to the norms of reality. The pile-up of paradoxes
present in his paintings escapes the control of logical thinking. The artist constantly surprises the audience, which makes his work unique. He himself is a mysterious person with an unconventional posture of the soul.
Władysław Adamski was born in Nowa Sól (Poland), in 1953. Painting has been his passion almost since childhood. In elementary school, he was fascinated by battle scenes, which had its source in his interest in history.
